Frequently Asked Questions
Booking Timing
What is the minimum advance booking time for a TMB event?
All standard bookings need at least 48 hours’ notice. This gives our team time to confirm your artist or band, arrange sound and setup, and prepare for the event. And Artists and Crew will come 2 hours prior to the event for the setup.
Can I book an artist on short notice?
Yes – our on-demand option covers bookings made as little as 5 hours before your event. Because timing is tight, TMB selects the best available verified artist for you rather than letting you choose from the full catalogue.
NOC (No Objection Certificate)
What is an NOC and why does TMB need one?
It’s a short document confirming that you, as host, and your building or community management have no objection to our artist and crew visiting your residence for the event. It mainly smooths things over with security or building management on the day.
Do I have to write the NOC myself?
No – once your booking is confirmed, TMB sends you a ready-made NOC draft with the event date, time, and duration already filled in. You add your details, get it signed and stamped by your building/community management, and send it back to us before the event.
What happens if I fail to get the NOC?
If your building denies access or stops the event due to missing NOC
- No refund will be issued
- The event will be considered a client-side cancellation
The Music Brew and its artists are not liable for any fines or penalties
Will TMB confirm the booking without a NOC?
Yes, but TMB may request:
- a signed & stamped NOC
- If security stops entry due to rules or missing NOC, the booking is still chargeable and will not be refunded.
Booking
Can I book more than one artist for a single event?
Yes, absolutely!
TMB allows you to choose:
TMB allows you to choose:
- Solo artist
- Duo artist
- Multiple artist
Can I reschedule or cancel my booking?
Yes, within the notice period stated at checkout. Reach out to our team as early as possible – the earlier you flag a change, the easier it is to rearrange the artist’s schedule. Rescheduling is subject to same artist availability on the new requested date.
What happens if my chosen artist becomes unavailable?
We’ll offer a comparable verified artist or band matching your original category, mood, and time slot, or work with you on rescheduling – you’re never left without a solution.
Is my payment refundable if I need to cancel?
Refunds follow the cancellation window shared at checkout – cancelling with enough notice qualifies for a refund or credit, late cancellations may not, since the artist’s time has already been reserved exclusively for you.
- Cancellation more than 24 hours before the Event. TMB will credit 70% of the payment and 100% of the price of any Add-On not yet rendered to the Client’s account. Disturbing Neighbors
Will the performance disturb my neighbors?
Our crew manages sound levels professionally for a home setting, matching instruments and volume to your space. For apartments or shared buildings, we recommend informing neighbors in advance as a courtesy, especially for full-band bookings.
Do I need to inform my building management about noise?
It’s a good idea, particularly for livelier BandAura sessions. Most buildings are comfortable once they see the NOC confirming a private, verified event with a defined start and end time.
Contacting the Artist
Can I contact the artist directly?
All communication and booking stays on the TMB platform. This keeps things verified, protects both you and the artist, and ensures TMB can step in if anything needs adjusting before or during the event.
Artist Verification
How does TMB verify its artists?
Every artist and band goes through our TrueMark verification – Emirates ID and residency checks, plus a review of performance quality – before they’re allowed on the platform. Ratings after each event keep that standard maintained.
Referral Points
How does the referral programme work?
Every client gets a unique referral code (BREW-XXXX), valid for 3 months. Share it with friends or family – when they complete their first booking, you earn 10 points.
How do I redeem my referral points?
30 points gets you a highlight clips add-on, 60 points gets an extra 30 minutes added to a session, and 90 points unlocks a VIP Concierge booking.
